The 162 Regiment Royal Logistic Corps, is a regiment of the British Army Reserve Territorial Army, and is part of 104 Logistic Support Brigade in the British Army. In 2006 it was amalgamated with the 163 Movement Control Regiment and was the only volunteer Movement Control Regiment in the Territorial Army. 162 Movement Control Regiment provides support to 29 Regiment RLC. It has merged with 88 Postal and Courier Regiment RLC (88 PC Regt) in 2013, to form the 162 Regiment The Royal Logistic Corps 〔http://www.army.mod.uk/news/25835.aspx〕 All 5 task Squadrons are recruiting now, there is £2300 training bonus to be paid to new recruits on completion of their training and £10,000 for ex-regulars re-joining up to 6 years after they left the Regular Army.
